The following publication captures the experience of the project partners from the implementation of the project "Save Wooden Boats" and was carried out with the aim of exploring and enriching the methodological tools and the most effective practices for the prevention, rescue, and promotion of the traditional wood craft of our country through the case of the historical vessel "Eleni P.", part of our Intangible and Material Cultural Heritage. With this handbook, the consortium of the project partners aspires to increase and improve the capacity of the scientific research community active in the field of culture. It aims to operate and respond to the objectives and challenges in the field and to provide a springboard for further interdisciplinary research on innovative methods of preservation and promotion of intangible and tangible cultural heritage, with the main mission of sustainable development of our cultural heritage.

Digitization and Digital Presentation of a Wooden Traditional Boat
In the following article, which was presented in the context of the 5th Panhellenic Conference on the Digitization of Cultural Heritage - EUROMED 2023-2024, the digitization and digital documentation procedures of the passage ELENI P. which was dismantled in a controlled manner in the context of the research project SaveWoodenBoats are presented. The ultimate goal is to present the technologies adopted to digitize each part of the vessel and then the digitized information will form the basis for its presentation through augmented, virtual and mixed reality technologies. We describe the step-by-step process adopted and analyse the technical challenges encountered during the efforts to digitally highlight the ELENI P. The innovative approaches of the project are presented in detail while we capture examples of the final user application through which one can navigate and view the construction details of the vessel.
